Concentrating his practice in intellectual property law disputes and litigation, Bob Pershes is a patent attorney, registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Intellectual Property Law. He has successfully litigated cases in more than twenty states, including jury trials of patent, trademark, and copyright infringements in such areas as entertainment, advertising, pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and counterfeit goods. As a litigator, arbitrator and mediator for over three decades he has developed skills to successfully resolve complex disputes and uses these skills for the benefit of his clients.

Served as an Expert Witness for an inventor who had his invention infringed by one of the country’s largest hardware companies; result after jury trial inventor was awarded a Multi-Million Dollar verdict which was upheld by the Court of Appeals of the Federal Circuit.
Represented an Engineering firm to obtain back ownership and use of the firm’s Trademark; result after jury trial, jury found full ownership rights in trademark for the client.

Represented a scientific equipment distributor who was given the manufacturer’s trademark by oral agreement and thirty years later was having it infringed by the original manufacturer who is a multi-national corporation; result after jury trial, jury awarded full ownership rights be given to the client as well as damages for infringing conduct of the manufacturer.

Represented a DVD distributor accused of copyright infringement and producing counterfeiting products; result after jury trial client was found not to be infringing the copyright and product found not counterfeit goods.

Represented a marketing company against copyright infringer of its design materials; result after dispositive motion filed, defendant stopped infringement, destruction of unauthorized copies and damages paid for infringement.

Represented one of the largest automobile distributorships in the United States in defense of claims of infringing trademark, copyright infringement and breach of license; result after jury trial, jury found no infringement, and no breach of license.

Represented a jewelry manufacturer accused of copyright infringement; result after evidentiary hearing, court found all claims were invalid and claimant’s copyright was vacated.

Represented a pharmaceutical distributor accused of patent infringement, as well as trademark and copyright infringement of packaging materials; result after dispositive motion was dropping of all claims, with full rights for client to sell its product without change.

Represented Builder/designer/contractor who claimed copyright infringement of his designs; results after jury trial, jury found defendant infringed the designs and client awarded damages.
