Ms. Lomnitzer focuses her practice on intellectual property, entertainment law, art law, and commercial litigation. She has litigated a wide variety of intellectual property disputes, including cases involving claims to patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Ms. Lomnitzer handles both litigation and transactional matters, and represents a wide variety of clients with technology, entertainment, and intellectual property related issues. She has negotiated and prepared publishing and recording artists’ agreements, with a focus on copyright and royalty issues. Ms. Lomnitzer is experienced with negotiating content licensing contracts and track purchase agreements for CD compilations. Her in-depth knowledge of the music industry coupled with her intellectual property law training allows for an insightful perspective into copyright and trademark protection and enforcement.

Ms. Lomnitzer previously clerked for the Los Angeles district attorney’s office in the high tech crimes unit where she handled high technology and intellectual property cases such as unauthorized CD and DVD duplication, trademark violations, eBay fraud, identity theft and high profile trade secret crimes.
